How to import data via Coinbase Exchange API key?

Coinbase API Key Creation and Integration with Moonscape

Log Into Coinbase:

• Start by logging into your Coinbase account.

Access Settings:

• Click on your profile picture located in the top right-hand corner of the page.
• From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."

Navigate to API Section:

• Within the settings menu, click on the "API" tab.

Check API Version:

• Ensure you are using the latest API version. If you see an option to "upgrade" your key, please do so to stay up-to-date.

Create New API Key:

• Click on the "+New API key" button.
• You will be prompted to enter your 2-step verification code for security purposes.

Configure Permissions:

• In the "Account" section, select "all."
• Activate the following "read" permissions:
  • wallet:accounts:read
  • wallet:addresses:read
  • wallet:buys:read
  • wallet:checkouts:read
  • wallet:contacts:read
  • wallet:deposits:read
  • wallet:notifications:read
  • wallet:orders:read
  • wallet:payment-methods:read
  • wallet:sells:read
  • wallet:supported-assets:read
  • wallet:trades:read
  • wallet:transactions:read
  • wallet:user:read
  • wallet:withdrawals:read

Finalize API Key:

• Click on "Create" to confirm your entries.
• Your new API key and Secret will now be listed under the API section. Note that the Secret is displayed only once, so be sure to copy it for safekeeping.

Integrate with Moonscape Web App

• Open the Moonscape Web App.
• Navigate to the settings or dashboard.
• Click on Connect exchange in Settings to add a new exchange connection.

Enter API Details

• Paste your API Key and Secret into the designated input fields.

Activate API Key in Coinbase:

• Back in Coinbase, find your newly created API key in the list and click on "Enable."
• Enter the verification code sent to your email and click "Verify."

Finalize Integration

• Bank in Moonscape, click Add to complete the setup and start syncing your data.
