These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) are a legal contract between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Moonscape Software FZCO (“Moonscape,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of the Moonscape app and website (collectively, the “App” or “Services”). Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using our Services.

1. Assent & Acceptance

By accessing or using the Moonscape app, you agree to these T&Cs and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, please exit the app and delete any downloaded content immediately.

2. Definitions

  • "Services" refer to the crypto tax calculation, portfolio tracking, and other related features offered by Moonscape.
  • "Effective Date" refers to the date these T&Cs come into force.
  • "User" refers to any person accessing the app, whether registered or not. Registered users may also be referred to as “Members.”

3. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use Moonscape. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Services Overview

Moonscape provides tools for tracking cryptocurrency portfolios, calculating crypto taxes based on transaction data, and generating tax reports. The app supports integration with third-party platforms like exchanges and wallets via API connections or CSV uploads. All data provided by users is processed for their own tax calculations and portfolio management purposes.

5. Registration & Account Security

5.1 Registration:

To access certain Services, you must create an account by providing valid and up-to-date information, including your email address.

5.2 Account Use:

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Sharing account details with others is strictly prohibited.

5.3 Accuracy of Information:

Users are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to Moonscape is accurate and up to date.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

We do not sell or share your data with third parties without your consent. For detailed information on how your data is collected, used, and protected, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Crypto Portfolio & Tax Calculation

7.1 Portfolio Tracking:

Users can track their crypto holdings by importing transaction data from supported platforms. Moonscape generates reports based on the data you provide.

7.2 Tax Calculation:

The app provides tax reports based on the imported data and the tax rules applicable in specific jurisdictions (e.g., the UK, USA, etc.).

7.3 Data Accuracy:

Moonscape does not verify the accuracy of imported transaction data. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure all imported data is correct and up to date.

8. Payment & Subscriptions

8.1 Free and Paid Services:

Some features of Moonscape are free, while others are available through paid subscriptions. Pricing and available services are listed on the app or website.

8.2 Payment:

If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate billing information. Payments are handled through third-party processors like Stripe, and Moonscape is not responsible for payment processing issues.

9. No Financial or Tax Advice

The information provided by Moonscape is for informational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. Users are encouraged to consult with professional tax advisors.

10. Termination

Moonscape reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these T&Cs or engage in illegal activities. Users may also terminate their accounts at any time by contacting customer support.

11. Limitation of Liability

Moonscape is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the app, including inaccuracies in the tax calculations or reports. We also disclaim liability for any issues arising from third-party services (e.g., exchanges or wallets) integrated with the app.

12. Changes to T&Cs

We may modify these T&Cs from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Arab Emirates.
